The process of packing up your belongings in readiness for your removal can be an extremely time-consuming and can perhaps feel a little overwhelming. In many cases these items have been accumulated over a long period of time and in some instances hold great sentimental value.
Alternatively, the experience could be seen as a cleansing or a therapeutic undertaking; an opportunity to sort through many unwanted items before your removal. Either way we are able to provide you with a service that suits your needs and encompasses our values.
We at Peter Cooper Ltd take immense pride in our services and packing is no exception. Our removal staff are fully trained to BAR standards and can pack all manner of items, from the everyday pots and pans to the intricate ornaments or figurines. The safety of your possessions is as important to us, as they are to you.
Packing Service
Our specialist packing teams many years experience of packing properties and possessions of all sizes. From fragile china ornaments and glassware through to pianos, clothes, artwork and books
Everything is protected and packed in robust boxes and cartons to ensure they are transported to your new home safely.
Packing Material
For clients wanting to pack their own belongings, we are able to provide all packing materials required.
We supply the boxes in advance and the client will make them up, pack everything, label all boxes accordingly and ready their possessions for the removal crews arrival.
Packing Fragile Items
As part of our bespoke service, we can offer a partial or ‘fragile’ pack, this enables our clients to pack all their non-breakable belongings. Peter Cooper Ltd would make available to you all the necessary packing cartons and packing materials in advance.
International Moves
Should you need to transport furniture overseas. our team will encase each piece of furniture in specially designed paper blankets, followed by Furniguard, a product specifically designed with a foam inner and plastic outer layer to firmly protect its contents.
For very delicate or fragile items, a layer of export card can be added to provide further protection. Ensuring peace of mind for the client.

Our packing materials are made from recycled and recyclable materials and are constructed to meet industry standards. Cartons come in a variety of sizes to facilitate all packing requirements and if moving with us are provided to use free of charge, we only ask that they are returned to us.

Small box - 452 x 452 x 290mm - Recommended for heavier items: books, CD’s, DVD’s etc.
Medium box - 452 x 452 x 493mm - Recommended for china, glass, kitchenware and ornaments. Not for books or heavy items.
Large box - 452 x 452 x 747mm - Recommended for linen, duvets, pillows, towels, children's toys, or larger items that are not heavy. Not for heavy items.
White paper - Ideal for wrapping china and glass.
Bubble wrap - ideal for adding an extra layer of protection to delicate items.
Packing tape - used to secure boxes.
